Divorce-Group-DetroitA divorce group in the metro Detroit area is now available. This divorce group called "Children in the Middle" is a skills-based program that helps parents and their children deal with the many difficulties that arise after the divorce has been finalized. Research shows that chronic conflict between ex-spouses after a divorce increases the likelihood that their children will suffer emotional pain, as well as behavioral and academic disturbances. This one session divorce group helps parents learn the skills needed to avoid putting their children in the middle of their conflicts, and teaches the parents more effective ways in dealing with their ex.
Daytime GroupsDaytime groups will be held on Thursdays from 10:30am-11:45am at my office in the Farmington Hills area. My office address is 32841 Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills MI, 48334. Groups will begin only with a minimum of 4 participants.
